With the development of domestic chlor alkali industry, the production of general PVC resin has been in a situation of oversupply for many years. The successful development of all flame retardant PVC modified engineering plastics can not only save a lot of foreign exchange for the country, but also find a new way for PVC manufacturers.
Fourth, the chemical corrosion resistance and strong ultraviolet light resistance of all flame-retardant PVC modified engineering plastics are far better than flame-retardant ABS engineering plastics. According to relevant information, the annual consumption of ABS in China is more than 186000 tons, while that in China is only 80000 tons. It is expected that it will increase at a faster rate in the future. During the "Eighth Five Year Plan" period, the state focused on investing in communication work, and it has made explicit provisions that the newly added telecommunication equipment and its terminals, as well as the TV shell above 47cm, must be flame retardant. Therefore, it can be estimated that the promotion value of flame retardant engineering plastics is obvious.
